Hi all, this is Brianca Euley. I truly hope you are all enjoying my story. Yeah, I know it is kind of hard to enjoy the book as it talks about some pretty serious and hard things to talk about. Believe me, it was pretty hard for my author to write it and tell the story. So many people go through what I went through on a daily basis. We need to stop it some how. I know the authorities are doing everything they can, but it's not enough since it keeps occurring.

Parents we need to discuss the topics in my story with our daughters that way they know the evils out there in the world. If you know of any one who is currently in any of the situations discussed in my story, please (I'm begging you) don't ignore it. Do what you can to help the person get out of the situation! Thank you for listening to my rant.

Do check out my story (it is FREE by the way) and talk about it with your daughters. Let them read my story as well (15 and older please) and then talk about it with them. Ask them how they felt about various situations and what they would do if they ever find themselves in any of the situations. Then LISTEN to what they have to say.

"What a wonderful book! This book follows the life of a young girl stuck between following the way she was raised (to be faithful to the Lord and abstain from sin) and the way of the "popular" crowd. Sucked in to the sin she finds herself in some really bad situations and then has to find a way out. This is a great book of inspiration to any older teen who may be struggling to find her way through high school or college. A great reminder that there is a reason God calls those things sin and why He wants to see all His followers stay away from them. Ms. Funke is a great Christian author and this book is no exception. "I found the book a stay up late, can't put it down, page turning style of book. However, with that being said I found parts of it hard to get though because of its subject matter and yet it is all around us. This book deals with family dysfunction, low self worth, RAPE, being sold into the sexual slave trade and therefore prostitution, bullying, and spousal abuse. It starts out as a young 17 year old going off to cheerleading camp with her best friend and there she is bullied and runs away. This book does have a happy ending where she finds her way back to God and finds happiness along the way. This book is not for everyone but could be a good parent child discussion starter HOWEVER a parent should read it first. Not really for anyone under 16 or 17. At least that would be my recommendation. I received this book free from the author for my honest review." ~ Nana698

Meeting Actress Vivica Fox

    How did I get the pleasure of meeting Vivica Fox? Well, I walked into the local hair store to buy some hair conditioner stuff and saw the ad stating she was coming for a meet and greet. So on the off chance of it actually being true, I decided to take a chance and went to see her. I took a copy of my book with me. She was really very nice and took photos and gave autographs to the people that showed up. But because there were so many people you didn't really get to talk to her when you got your photo taken. So I asked the bodyguard if I waited to the end if it would be possible for me to give her the book. He told me to wait to the side and he'd take care of it. I actually thought he was going to say no. Anyway, at the end he had me follow them back into the store and asked for my book. He said, "Hey Vivica, I have a lady out here who would like to give you a gift." She waved him in and handed it to her. She looked at the cover and read the title before turning it over to the back cover. She looked up at me and asked me if I had written the book. I nodded. "Really?" she said. "Yes, ma'am," I replied. I then stated that I even autographed it for her. She smiled and I turned to leave. She then asked me if I wanted a photo or two of her with the book.
     Meeting actress Vivica Fox was truly a blessing. She is one of the most sweet ladies that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Although she was only in Savannah for a short period of time and there were tons of people who showed up for her meet and greet, she took out the time to meet every single person who was there. She went out of her way to make people happy. She was truly amazing.
     I had the pleasure of taking some photos with her and talking with her a little bit. I liked how she was truly interested in what I had to say. Although she is one of the most famous actresses known, she is down to earth and more like one of us regular people. I think that I liked this most of all about her.
     It was a little strange autographing my book for her, but it was such a honor at the same time. She looked over my book and genuinely seemed interested in reading the book. I hope that she enjoys the book. I pray that God continues to bless her life abundantly for she truly deserves it.
    Hope you all enjoyed the photos and my little adventure.

I am proud to say this book is not only finished, but available for purchase on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This book was a really hard and touchy subject to write, but I'm glad that I wrote it. I pray that it's able to help a lot of people in these types of situations and that it possibly makes others stay out of these situations.

At times, I wanted to strangle my main character as well as some of the others and yet at other times I wanted to comfort and encourage them.

I am happy to say that this book is currently in the editing phase of the publishing process. It came out a little better than I thought that it would. Guess What???

I'm doing my happy dance, oh yeah, oh yeah. My new inspirational book is finally finished! Yes! It's off to the beta readers and then editing.

On A Writing Sabbatical

     I should probably go on a writing sabbatical more often. I have gotten so much writing completed on this book in the past two and a half days then I have in the past month or so. During this time, I stayed offline mostly. I did peek in to check email and answer any messages left for me on facebook, but then I immediately logged off and stayed off. I've done nothing but work on this book for hours on end. I am happy to say that I have written 27, 369 words of the story and I am still working on the book.
     I believe that there will probably be only ten more chapters or so and then it will be finished. It has turned out to be a lot better than I thought that it would. Writing has become a lot easier now that I have gotten passed my main character's extremely bad patch in life. I believe that the words are going to fly off my fingers now as I bring it to a glorious close. I am excited to see how everyone will react to this book. I know that it is completely different from anything that I have ever written.  But I felt that it was a necessary topic to speak on. I look forward to reading your reviews when the book becomes available.

Writing Spree Update

I am taking the next two days to do nothing, but work on this book. I hope to have it completely written by this weekend so that it can go into the editing stage next week. This has been one of the most difficult books to write. It has been an emotional roller coaster ride. But I believe that it will be well worth it. I hope that you (my fans) enjoy this inspirational book when it's available.
