Now Available

I am proud to say this book is not only finished, but available for purchase on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This book was a really hard and touchy subject to write, but I'm glad that I wrote it. I pray that it's able to help a lot of people in these types of situations and that it possibly makes others stay out of these situations.

At times, I wanted to strangle my main character as well as some of the others and yet at other times I wanted to comfort and encourage them.

This book hasn't even had it's book launch party yet and it is already receiving 5 star reviews on Amazon. Please go check it out, I promise that you won't be disappointed.

But I pray that it also gives you some encouragement. Stay tuned as the book will be available for purchase soon.

On A Writing Sabbatical

I should probably go on a writing sabbatical more often. I have gotten so much writing completed on this book in the past two and a half days then I have in the past month or so. During this time, I stayed offline mostly. I did peek in to check email and answer any messages left for me on facebook, but then I immediately logged off and stayed off. I've done nothing but work on this book for hours on end. I am happy to say that I have written 27, 369 words of the story and I am still working on the book.
I believe that there will probably be only ten more chapters or so and then it will be finished. It has turned out to be a lot better than I thought that it would. Writing has become a lot easier now that I have gotten passed my main character's extremely bad patch in life. I believe that the words are going to fly off my fingers now as I bring it to a glorious close. I am excited to see how everyone will react to this book. I know that it is completely different from anything that I have ever written.  But I felt that it was a necessary topic to speak on. I look forward to reading your reviews when the book becomes available.

Writing Spree Update

I am taking the next two days to do nothing, but work on this book. I hope to have it completely written by this weekend so that it can go into the editing stage next week. This has been one of the most difficult books to write. It has been an emotional roller coaster ride. But I believe that it will be well worth it. I hope that you (my fans) enjoy this inspirational book when it's available.

Thank You

Another Book Update

I have wrote 3,711 words today. That's pretty good as I am trying to get back into the mood for writing this particular book. It's not that I have writer's block or anything like that, it's because parts of this book is difficult to write. Sometimes, I just want to reach in and choke one of my characters and other times I want to smack some of the others. Aaargh, sometimes people do such stupid things and they wonder why they're in the situation that they're in. Anyway, now my novel has 46,832 words completed. My masterpiece is halfway done.

Ahem, my name is Brianca and I'm probably the one that my author wants to choke or smack. She probably wants to do both. I know that I've done some really stupid things in my lifetime but it has all helped to shape me into the person that I am today. My author is writing about what happened to me during my wild period of my life and I agree with her. I'd like to smack me too! What on earth possessed me to do some of those things? I can't really blame it on anyone except myself. I knew about God, but I didn't really have Him in my life. I ran away from Him as well as my family and friends.

Anyway, please forgive my author if she takes my story and throws it across the room every now and then. Don't worry, I'll encourage her to finish it. Besides, my story needs to be told. I need to help other girls and women. I want to keep the innocent from making the bad decisions that I did and I want to give hope to the ones who are currently in the same situation or something similar to what I went through. Ladies, never give up because there is always still hope. God is our hope. We all just have to learn to trust Him. Take care everyone and keep your head up. ~ Brianca Euley (fictional character)

Writing Update

I had set this book aside so that I could finish up with my latest children's book Where Did I Come From? and I am happy to say that I have completed it. So now, I am back to writing this book. Hopefully, I will have it finished by the end of the month so that it can go to editing and be published right around Easter. We shall see what happens.

Writing Update Feb. 16th

5198 words written today and counting. The words have been flying off my fingertips lately. There are 33,721 words completed in this book so far. I am looking forward to completing this book and seeing the finished product. This is going to be one of those books that make you cry but at the same time give you hope.

Feb. 9th Update

I've just been working on this book today. I have 1/3 of the book completed. The words are just flying into my book. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. I hope that the finished manuscript portrays all that I want it to and reaches many women either in these situations or prevents some from entering them.

Possible Release Date

If I am able to continue writing as much as I've been able to do this past week, then I'm looking at a possible release date of May 5th.

I Actually Made Feb. 5th's Goal

Yay me! I completed 7,961 words today. My manuscript now has a total of 21,809 written words. I cannot believe how fast the words are flowing from my fingers. Maybe I'll set tomorrow's goal for 10,000 words.

Feb, 5th's Update

Today's goal is 6,000 words. I'll let you know if I make it.

Feb. 3rd Update

YAY! I wrote 3,356 words today. The words just seemed to fly off my fingertips. Now if I can continue to write like this every day, perhaps I can have this completed and in editing come the end of the month.

Small Teaser

PROLOGUE

Life is incredible for me now. Life wasn’t always this good, at least not for me. I have a wonderful family of my own now. A wonderful husband who adores me, an incredibly beautiful daughter (yes, I’m a little biased), and a wonderful son who shows me the world every day through his eyes. Although the economy is going down the toilet, both my husband and myself have been blessed with wonderful jobs, a beautiful home, all of our bills are paid and we don’t lack anything. God is certainly looking out for us.

But my life wasn’t always this wonderful, like most of us I had to learn things the hard way. Lord knows, I made a lot of mistakes in the past but they have helped to mold me and shape me into who I am today. I thank God for staying with me despite the many screw-ups that I did in my younger years.

I know that you may not believe what I am telling you, but if you are going through or experiencing what I have already been through believe me when I tell you that it will get better for you. That much I can promise. Your trials and tribulations only last for a time; you can either learn from them and move on or not. God will see you through it all.

There’s an old saying, if only I knew then what I know now I would do things differently. That is so true, but at the same time I would not change a thing from my past as it has helped to shape me into the person that I have become today. Although, I must admit that many things would never have happened if only I had listened to that still small voice within me. But like everyone else, I am a little stubborn. This story is about me. Perhaps, I should start from the beginning…….

My name is Brianca Minuet Euley and I am here to tell my story in an attempt to either prevent someone else from going down this road or to give someone who is in this same situation the comfort in knowing that they too can and will overcome it.

I'm on a writing spree.......

You gotta love it when God gets the words flying off your fingertips. I haven't stopped writing yet. Not sure how much more I will write tonight before turning in. So far today, I have written a total of 3,169 words and counting.

Aaarrgggggh

This book is definitely a work in progress. Some of the things that I want to get across are difficult to write. At times it makes you want to throw it across the room because you're angry with one of the characters.

Wow

Sometimes writing more than one book at a time can be stressful to your emotions. (lol) One book is heart-breaking sometimes, while another is exciting and scary and the third is sweet and cute. Oh well, it's just another day in the life of an author.

Working on book today

Just working on this book today until time for my release party for "Through the Eyes of a Child" This book is turning out to be really something. Lots of heart-warming and tear-jerker moments.

Discussion Question

If you had a friend that you knew was in an abusive relationship to where his/her spouse was not only verbally abusive but physically abusive, what would you do? Would you try to help them get out of that relationship? Would you help the abuser to obtain help? Feel free to comment below.

Update

I will soon be returning to work on this book. Writing Sodom: A Nation On Its Knees has taken me a little longer than I thought. Well, when God takes you in a different direction you don't argue, you just go with it. I hope to have this book finished and available by late Spring 2014.
